AHORE — The iconic Minar-e-Pakistan witnessed an unprecedented spectacle this weekend as former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Mariam, aiming to host an unforgettable political gathering, ended up orchestrating what can only be described as a scene straight out of Bollywood's "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" (K3G).

With an entrance reminiscent of Shah Rukh Khan's iconic slow-motion reunion with his 'Maa', Nawaz Sharif made his dramatic entry with "Suraj Hua Maddham" playing in the background. As the notes hit their peak, Mariam, channeling her best Kajol, ran through a field of perfectly timed wind machines, replete with flying dupattas and tearful, slo-mo reunions.

"I half expected Jaya Bachchan to emerge from the crowd, sensing her son's return," whispered a stunned attendee, referencing the iconic mother-son moment from the film.

And if the cinematic reunions weren't enough, the political duet reportedly handed out complementary 'Sharif Family Branded' large-sized golden 'K' pendants, clearly inspired by the film's memorable 'K' moment. Attendees gleefully displayed their pendants, with one supporter noting, "This is just like the film, but with more plot twists."

The climax of the evening? A choreographed dance number set to "Bole Chudiyan" featuring none other than the Sharif clan, as the star-studded audience clapped along.

Local gossip columnist, Farah Batool, speculated on the potential for a Sharif family film debut. "I'm hearing whispers about a possible 'K3G: Lahore Edition' film," she hinted. "I mean, after this performance, Bollywood is practically calling their names."

As the event reached its end, a massive helicopter, in a nod to the movie's opulent setting, showered the attendees with rose petals while the screen played a message: "It's all about loving your family... and voters."

Experts are still debating the political impact of the event, but as far as cinematic spectacles go, Lahore just had its red carpet moment.
